JST VL Series 6.2 mm Wire to Wire Socket Housings for Pin Contacts VL Series wire to wire crimp style socket housings for pin contacts with a 6.2mm pitch that can be free hanging or panel mounted. These VL series socket style wire to wire housings are suitable for use with circuits that have high-power requirements of up to 20A when loaded with VL series crimp contacts. The housings feature in-built lances which allow the contact to be easily inserted and securely locked into place. The use of housing lances allows lanceless contacts to be used which avoids wire tangling and lance deformation is eliminated. Inner and outer locking devices are incorporated into the housings to prevent accidental disconnection due to vibration or wire routing. To aid panel mounting these VL series connector housings have a space saving panel lock designed to prevent tangling with wires or breaking in cold or dry weather. These VL Series socket housings are suitable for use with a panel thickness of 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm and are available in 2 panel hole shape designs.
The pin contacts for these socket housings must be purchased separately
Secondary retainers are also available which ensure the contacts are fully seated and prevent accidental release.
