Cat 6 PVC Patch Leads These RS PRO patch leads, also known as Ethernet patch cables are manufactured using Category 6 cables, commonly referred to as Cat 6 Cable. They are electrical cables often used in office environments to link computers to a network hub, router or Ethernet switch.

These RS PRO Cat6 patch cables are designed for both mechanical and electrical reliability, using quality materials. They deliver a patch cord solution offering high performance, with a design feature ’one style fits all’ cord application.

They are unshielded twisted pairs (U/UTP), a popular type of cable consisting of two unshielded wires twisted around each other. Due to the cables being twisted together both cross-talk and system noise levels are reduced.
